Painter and decorator

Painter and Decorator GBP30,202 per annum Long Stratton, Norwich, Norfolk Permanent, Full Time We have an opportunity for a Painter and Decorator to join our Planned Improvements team to carry out painting and decorating works both internally and externally on a wide range of building types, including occupied and empty properties, sheltered schemes and any other premises owned by Saffron or those they have an interest in. Key responsibilities include: * Undertake all painting and decorating work in order to maintain all premises owned by Saffron or those they have an interest in. * Undertake painting and decoration work in association with planned improvements, voids, minor works, and small new build contracts. * Responsible for all equipment provided by Saffron including van stock, vehicle, tools and materials. Our ideal candidate will have: * Relevant experience and knowledge in all types of Painting and Decorating. * Experience of working in both occupied and unoccupied properties and on occasions in extreme temperatures and conditions due to seasonal weather conditions. * A recognised trade apprenticeship, NVQ level 2 or the equivalent level of skills and experience is required. * Able to work as part of a team and also able to work independently without the need for close supervision. * Excellent time management skills, including an ability to prioritise workload and meet agreed deadlines. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, possessing the ability to liaise with various audiences. * Ability to use a mobile device (mobile phone/tablet) to manage workload, send and receive emails, access apps to order stock and MS Teams for meetings / training. * Ability to participate on the out of hours call out rota. * Full, current, valid driving licence.
