Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant - Property Company To assist the Company Accountant with day-to-day bookkeeping Finchley, Barnet (5 days - 9.00am - 5.30pm) Maintain accurate ledgers - sales, purchase and general Process purchase/expense invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely and accurate manner Resolving supplier queries and preparing supplier payment runs Raise accounts receivable invoices/credit notes; follow up outstanding balances (credit control) Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. Assist in preparation of banking reporting requirements Assist in intercompany and other balance sheet reconciliations Analyse, reconcile and post credit card statements Assist with service charge postings and reconciliations Assist with preparation submission of HMRC returns including VAT, CIS Assist with preparation submission of payroll Month end support, assist with TB / preparation of management accounts /year end Assist with preparation of accounting schedules Perform ad-hoc finance-related tasks as needed and assist with office adminYou should be an experienced Bookkeeper/ Accounts Assistant with excellent knowledge of Double Entry bookkeeping and Sage Line 50
