My Client in Gillingham Kent is currently looking for a Wood CNC Machinist Duties include but are not limited to: bull; Operation of a variety of woodworking machinery to produce parts for joinery; Crosscut saws, re-saws, thicknesses, spindle moulders, mortices, tenoners, panel saws, edge banders CNC machines bull; Working from joinery construction drawings and cutting lists to determine machining requirements bull; Setting and operating machines to produce product with consistent results that meet specifications and expected high quality standards bull; Safe operating of machinery within H S requirements and Safe Systems of Work bull; Reporting machinery and product faults to management bull; Quality control checking all machined parts and components to ensure highest of standards bull; Collaboration with draughting and assembly teams to ensure machined parts meet required Details and specifications Requirements: bull; 5 years plus experience as joinery Machinist or similar role bull; Exceptional knowledge of joinery design and construction bull; Ability to read and interpret joinery technical construction drawings bull; A keen eye and attention to detail bull; Excellent organisational ability bull; Highly motivated
