Job Title: Audit Manager Location: Letchworth Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP70,000 Hours: 8:30am ndash; 5pm. (1-hour unpaid lunch) The working weeks is 37.5 hours (Monday to Friday). As an integral member of the audit group, the Audit Manager plays a vital role. This position involves overseeing a personal portfolio of clients, reporting to the Responsible Individual (RI). The responsibilities include client service, direction of all assurance services, and management of our team. Our aim is to provide a challenging yet enjoyable work environment, collaborating with like-minded individuals, and delivering outstanding service. Responsibilities: You will work alongside the Head of Audit to run the department, delivering high quality audits to our clients in the SME sector You will be supported by the wider audit team to deliver the onsite work and will report into the RI rsquo;s in the department You will build relationships with the clients so that you are the ldquo;go-to rdquo; person and will manage their expectations, their audit, and our team to deliver a high quality audit. You will be developing the team and be a role model You will be completing file reviews on a range of audit clients, utilising your existing technical knowledge and experience whilst developing your skills still further and ensuring quality standards are met in the department You will also be identifying and delivering added value services to the clients to help them prosper Skills and Experience: You must have a least 2 years rsquo; post qualified experience in a medium sized practice working SME rsquo;s You rsquo;ll be ACA or ACCA qualified You rsquo;ll have supervisory or managerial experience You rsquo;ll have strong technical knowledge, eg UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS and ISA rsquo;s You rsquo;ll love developing relationships You rsquo;ll be tech-savvy, knowledge of CCH would be great You rsquo;ll have a pro-active approach to tasks whether they are big or small You rsquo;ll be motivated by a fast paced environment You rsquo;re excited to immerse yourself in our culture and business.
