Electrical project engineer

Electrical Project Engineer - Commercial, Education, Healthcare and Data Centre projects - based in Cambridge A market leading national Building Services Contractor is currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to be based from their Cambridge office working on projects across East Anglia. This is an exciting opportunity join an expanding office for a well-established business. They offer a comprehensive electrical and mechanical installation service across many sectors including Education, Health, Commercial, Industrial, Data Centres and Retail. As the Electrical Project Engineer, you will be reporting into an Electrical Project Manager, assisting with managing projects of values up to GBP50 million, so previous experience of similar large projects is essential. As the Electrical Project Engineer, you will be required to manage the materials, subcontractor, installation, procurement and drawing programme to accord with installation and specification requirements. Throughout the installation its essential you manage labour and subcontractors ensuring compliance with specification and contract documentation. Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience: middot; Track record of delivering successful projects in an electrical subcontracting environment. middot; Be driven and focussed individual. middot; Effective planning and project management skills. middot; Experience of working on large new build and refurbishment projects. middot; Working for a Building Services Contractor at a similar level. middot; Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of Electrical systems and their installation methods. middot; The ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads. middot; Time Served Apprentice or relevant Electrical qualifications. middot; Hold a SMSTS.
