Maintenance technician building fabric

Job Title: Building Fabric Technician (Multi-Skilled) Site: Worcester Hours: 40 plus overtime Pay: Up to GBP19 per hour depending on experience Reporting to: Midlands Regional Manager Role: As a Multi Skilled Building Fabric Technician, you will be required to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance to the Building Fabric and to assist with various other works as required. Main Duties: Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act requirements. And working to client H S requirements including ATW, Inductions, Permits plus generic/specific/dynamic RAMS Be able to work on their own as well as being part of a broader team and supporting other self-delivered and/or sub-contracting works. To assist in the repair and maintenance of internal/external building fabric and general mechanical services including plumbing services, general pipework for repair, replacement and install. Minor roof repairs, drainage and support services with others. Building fabric repairs, including painting and decorating as required. General labouring duties. Minor electrical tasks - lamp changing etc. Other general building repairs and maintenance as required. Qualifications: NVQ level 3 minimum or equivalent City 7 Guilds in a related trade, and five (5) proven years of experience along with competences. Desirable to have MEWP #39;s training / Working at Heights (IPAF) Experience Essential Five (5) years minimum experience in a similar role. Experience with similar maintenance duties around building fabric. Capable of data input to Microsoft systems for data collecting and reporting Full driving license. Desirable Experience in computer PPM management systems (CAFM or similar) Basic Mechanical Electrical experience/knowledge Personal Qualities Confidence and commitment to providing a high quality, professional service Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility for the completion of tasks Ability to prioritise work tasks Adaptable and flexible in approach to work required Effective problem solving skills Willingness and ability to work as a member of a team Ability to remain calm under pressure Reliable Results/tasks orientated Ability to perform tasks that require physical fitness Closing date is 15th May 2024 Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are operating as an employment agency on behalf of its client.
