Trainee quantity surveyor

Have you recently completed a degree in Quantity Surveying? Are you looking to learn on the job experience? Our Client, a National New Build Housing Developer, is looking for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial department in the Northeast. Responsibilities: Assist in setting, monitoring and delivery of budgets throughout the projects. Ability to use a range of IT packages including Microsoft Office. Assist in placing orders, and producing accurate and timely reports for the business. Assist with forecasting cost of materials required for projects. Liaise with subcontractors, site staff and further departments to ensure communication and collaboration is of standard. What we need from you: The ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Hold relevant industry requirements; RICS and a surveying degree or HND.
