Sports mentor and TA ndash; Brent ndash; GBP85/GBP100 a day depending on experience ndash; full time ndash; start as soon as possible ndash; Mainstream primary school year 6 * Sport mentor/TA would support a mainstream primary school in Brent * Sports Mentor/TA will be paid between GBP85-GBP100 depending on experience * Sports mentor/TA will need to be confident supporting on a 1:1 basis in a year 6 class * Must have at least 2 years experience working with children and young people Are you seeking a new role as a Sports mentor/TA? Are you confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups? Do you have strong behaviour management skills? If you have answered yes to the above then this Sports Mentor/TA role is for you! The role: Sports Mentor/TA You will be working in a mainstream primary school in Brent, your main roles and responsibilities will be a split role, you will be working as a TA to help the pupil in the class on a 1:1 basis supporting with challenging behaviour, you will also need to supervise the pupils during play and meal times and create a positive learning environment for them. You will help with tasks needed and contribute progress on the pupils to the class teacher. You will also be assisting in PE to support with various different sports such as football, basketball, cricket and much more. For this role you must have at least 2 years experience working with children and young people within schools or coaching, Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one, some experience supporting students with SEN and relevant qualifications and training. The school ndash; Sports mentor./TA This is school is based within the centre of brent with multiple transports links with a 10 minute walk to the school. They value respect, kindness, and responsibility, we aim to foster a strong sense of community and citizenship among our students.
