The mission of the ESG Corporate IT Team, in strong partnership with the Sustainability team and the Sustainability performance team in the Corporate functions, is to provide strategic vision, advise on technology roadmap and deliver the technology services that will support the Sustainability House ambitions. With the increasing pressure from internal or external stakeholders and new Governmental regulations, we have an unprecedent demand for collecting and consolidating data all across the company and our value chain to provide extra financial analysis to our leadership (with also reglementary reporting like CSRD) team and to the public of our business; hence there is an opportunity for a highly capable and motivated intern to join the team to: Automate the collection, the standardization and the quality of data from various activities of the business. Create dashboard and reports with accurate information for the leaders of Chanel. Assignments : We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Intern to join our CORPFIT ESG Domain team. The Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in assisting in the implementation of the Chanel Federated data platform and leverage the Federated Data Platform architecture and capabilities by developing data models for the ESG domain based on data normalization and standardization approach. You will work closely also with the Data and Analytics teams based in London and in Paris, and of course with the ESG business team. ESG is a transversal topic, you will so have the opportunity to work on a large area of business data domain. By the way, ESG covers natively a wide area of business data domain, so the approach will be to implement the ESG data step by step, aligning with the business priorities and the data associated business value. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing queries and dashboards from the Corporate tools used for our carbon footprint (TVT, Cargo). Implement the enhancements, additional features for our Business Travels dashboard. Collect, clean and pre-process data from MyTower (solution to manage the freight) to ensure its quality and relevance for analysis. Test and validate the calculation and consolidation done in the Federated Data Platform. Create clear and informative data visualizations to communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contribute enhancing processes and support the business by proposing new ideas and innovating solution such as AI. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technology needs and provide innovative solutions. Profile : Currently enrolled in a Bachelor s or Master s program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related fields. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.). Efficient problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies (MS Fabric, Power BI, Datacatalog solutions, Azure ML, ….). Knowledge on data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy) and machine learning frameworks. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) to effectively communicate insights. Ability to prioritise workloads, multitask and handle complex data issues. Organized and detail and process oriented. Quick learner with a positive attitude, professional demeanour with excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate concisely with both functional and technical expert.
