Are you an experienced Business Analyst looking for an exciting new role? About the Company Our client is a leading insurance firm based in City of London. Position Overview As a Business Analyst you will act as a bridge between business units, internal development teams, IT Infrastructure and third party suppliers to help ensure successful project delivery. A major part of the role involves analysing the business’s processes and systems, investigating the current situation, identifying gaps and documenting improvements required. You will manage the requirements catalogue / product backlog for most projects and will be a crucial point of contact for stakeholders. Responsibilities Plan, manage, and facilitate workshops, interviews, and prototyping sessions to prompt requirements. Create and maintain requirements documentation to gain stakeholder agreement and guide developers. Manage the full requirements life-cycle, including elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management Becoming the expert in the systems requirements during the implementation of a project Produce requirements appendices such as use cases, process diagrams, and technical specifications. Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and write test scripts, analysing discrepancies and making recommendations for updates. Obtain correct authorisations and follow processes as required by the organisation Candidate Requirements Essential Skills and personal qualities 3-5 years of business analyst experience in an insurance-related organisation. Experience in implementing complex corporate and transactional trading solutions for large insurance organisations (e.g., CRM, broking, underwriting, document management systems). Proficient in planning, managing, and facilitating workshops, interviews, and prototyping sessions. Ability to work in a waterfall or Agile project environment Educated to degree level with a relevant degree e.g. Computing, Information Technology or Business. Ability to convey information using various artefacts such as, conceptual architecture, mock-up screens and wireframes.
