Mechanical contracts manager

Mechanical Contracts Manager Our client is a well established, M E Contractor, providing high-quality M E building services to clients in a variety of industries. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their successful team. As the Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mechanical projects, from initial planning and design to final installation and commissioning. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and project teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Projects this client work on include healthcare, education, retail, leisure, commercial and hospitality. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of mechanical projects, including planning, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning. - Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure that projects are delivered to their satisfaction. - Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these targets. - Source and manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that they meet our quality and safety standards. - Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required standards. - Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify any issues, and ensure that work is being carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications. - Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and reports. - Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. - Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, issues, and risks. Requirements: - Previous Mechanical Contracts Management experience. - Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and project teams. - Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and experience in ensuring compliance on construction sites. - Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage project teams. - Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.
