Senior building surveyor

My client is currently looking for a commercially aware Senior Building Surveyor for their Oxford office. Responsibilities of the Senior Building Surveyor: Assist in drafting specifications and documentation essential for project tendering, ensuring accuracy in cost estimation from contractors. Support in preparing building regulation and planning applications, overseeing discussions with relevant authorities as needed. Create drawings, designs, and specifications for projects of various sizes. Evaluate tender submissions and provide recommendations to clients. Conduct and document Project Progress Meetings. Manage all administrative aspects of construction contracts. Monitor expenses closely to ensure projects stay within budget and are completed on schedule. Negotiate and finalize payment settlements with contractors. Fulfill tasks delegated by the team leader. Requirements of the Senior Building Surveyor: MRICS is essential for this role Project experience would be highly advantageous for this role On offer for the Senior Building Surveyor: The starting salary for this position ranges from GBP55,000 to GBP60,000 depending on experience.
