Trainee buyer

Role: - Trainee Buyer Salary: - GBP24,000 - GBP25,000 per annum Hours: - 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 15:30 - Friday Location: - Birchwood, Warrington Contract: - Permanent Our client, a manufacturing company based in Birchwood are currently seeking a Trainee Buyer to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. Research new suppliers and make recommendations to the Purchasing Manager Obtain quotes for materials, office and factory supplies. Raise purchase order numbers and update system. Communicate supply/delays with the Purchasing Manager. Responsible for ordering factory office consumables Any other administration duties The Trainee Buyer will have the following skills and experience: - Personal drive and eagerness to learn and develop. Excellent communication skills (written oral) Strong administration skills with experience of Microsoft applications Experience with MRP / ERP would be beneficial
