Mechanical inspector

Our client, an industry leading, technology led engineering company, are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join their Quality team. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for examining, assessing, and verifying the quality and functionality of their bespoke components. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring that their products meet industry standards and customer requirements. Responsibilities: * Perform complete inspections in accordance with technical drawings and specifications. * Conduct measurements using precision instruments such as: micrometres, vernier callipers, dial test indicators, height gauges and coordinate measuring machines. * Record and document inspection results, report findings to the Quality Manager. * Collaborate with the Quality Manager and relevant production departments to address quality issues. Qualifications: * Experience in a quality led mechanical engineering environment * Proficient in interpreting technical drawings including GD T * Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment. * Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. * Effective communication skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Working 38 hours Monday-Thursday 07.30-1600 and Friday 07.30-13.30 you will receive a competitive salary alongside 25 days #39; holiday plus Bank Holidays.
