Cad technician

Flexible working location - visiting office in Rugby weekly with some visits in the London area Monday to Friday - 37.5hrs - 9am to 5.30pm (4.30pm finish on Fridays) Permanent GBP35,000pa + depending on skills experience Our client, a successful, growing company based in Rugby, are looking for a CAD Technician to join their current, fast paced team. This person will have a flexible working location, but will need to visit the Rugby office weekly and attend occasional site visits in London. The key responsibilities: * Developing 2D design, construction and record drawings * Management of drawing protocols and document control * Liaising with customers to establish protocols for specific projects, as well as internally/externally with project managers * Creating design issue, construction issue and final record drawings Minimum requirements: * Working experience of using AutoCAD LT * Great communication skills - able to communicate on various levels and with both customers and engineers * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment * Can deal with complications and problem solving in a calm and swift manner The ideal candidate: * Fully conversant with Microsoft Office * Self motivated * Ideally have experience with 3D REVIT / Navisworks * Driving licence and own vehicle to visit sites Benefits: * Full in-house and external training * Free on-site parking * Loyalty holiday scheme - 25 days plus bank holidays * Performance related bonus scheme * Company pension * Healthcare and wellbeing scheme Interested?
