Senior architectural technologist

We are currently representing a well-established Architectural Practice who are actively looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their growing team based around the Peterborough area. The role will be primarily working in the high-end private residential sector, extensively on contemporary AND conservation projects. The successful candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and 5+ years #39; experience post qualification. Our client has established reputation for high quality, design led innovative architecture, it has traditional and contemporary commissions nationwide. It is an RIBA chartered practice and a CIAT registered practice with a team of dedicated and highly skilled professionals who embrace the practice philosophy. Senior Architectural Technologist Position Remuneration Salary; GBP35k - GBP45k Holiday Allowance Pension Scheme Social Events Flexible Working Hours Other benefits discussed at interview stageSenior Architectural Technologist Position Overview Senior Architectural Technologist to join a Chartered Architectural practice Located near Peterborough Communicate well and understand a client brief. Arrive at a suitable design solution in conjunction with other team members. Produce accurate and detailed construction drawings to current Building Regulations standard. Progress details through approval process. Produce detailed works instructions, material specifications and schedules of work. Record and manage drawing registers. Liaise with installation teams, sub-contract suppliers, clients and suppliers. Senior Architectural Technologist Position Requirements Relevant qualification in HNC, HND or degree in Architectural Technology. 5+ years within the industry. Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations Standards in the house building sector. On site experience. Computer literate - essential experience of AutoCAD(2D) 2011 onwards. Knowledge of Sketchup would be an advantage. The ability to work with minimal supervision on construction drawings/building regulations requirements. Good communication skills and knowledge of products. High level of accuracy and administrative efficiency. Working knowledge of MS Office. A positive attitude and good sense of humour.
