Junior site manager

Position: Site Manager - Steel Construction and Aluminium Demountable Structures Salary: GBP40,000-GBP50,000 Type: Perm Location: Stoke-On-Trent (travel will be expected) Company: My client is a leading construction firm specialising in steel construction and aluminium demountable structures. As my client continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join a dynamic team. Position Overview: As the Site Manager for Steel Construction and Aluminium Demountable Structures, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating all on-site activities, managing resources, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. * Lead and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors. * Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints. * Conduct regular inspections to uphold quality standards and safety protocols. * Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and regulatory compliance. * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders. * Address any issues or concerns promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary. * Foster a collaborative and positive work environment conducive to project success. Requirements: * Proven experience in construction management, specifically in steel construction and aluminium demountable structures. * Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in project management software and tools. * Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. * Certification in construction management or related field (desired).
