Role Overview: Supporting Practical Science: Prepare materials and equipment for science experiments and demonstrations, ensuring they are ready for use in practical lessons. Maintaining Laboratory Equipment: Regularly maintain and calibrate scientific instruments and equipment to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines and procedures within the laboratory environment, promoting a safe and secure learning environment for students and staff. Resource Management: Manage inventory and stock levels, ordering necessary supplies and materials to support the science curriculum. Collaboration: Work closely with teaching staff to assist in the delivery of engaging and effective practical science lessons.Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is essential. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to laboratory work. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
