As our client are only one of the few companies in the world that design and manufacture this bespoke machinery, 90% of their sales are done internationally, subsequently being awarded the prestigious Queen rsquo;s award for export and development. As a result of business growth plans and increase in demand from customers such as Caterpillar, Siemens, GKN, and Samsung our client is looking to add a Mechanical Design Manager to their dynamic team, as a Mechanical Design Manager you will work closely with the Engineering Director on varied projects for clients around the world. The Role As a Mechanical Design Manager, you will be involved in the design process from inception to completion, Managing and spearheading new and existing projects. Some of the responsibilities for the Mechanical Design Manager will be to: Manage of all design activities from concept to production. Investigate design factors such as function, performance, cost, and operation efficiency. Prepare 3D/2D drawings, BOM rsquo;s, and technical solutions. Be a customer technical liaison on projects. Make sure designs meet customer requirements. Provide support to production. Create and updating design manuals. Visit client site, UK and abroad.
