Site maintenance engineer

Title: Site Maintenance Engineer Job Type: Temp (12 weeks) to Perm Location: Dartford, Kent Hours: Monday - Friday, flexible hours (37.5 hours per week) Salary: Circa GBP37,500 + extensive benefits package The Company: This international pharmaceutical company is seeking a plant maintenance engineer to take responsibility for all maintenance and servicing on their large industrial site in Dartford. The site itself is a fast-paced manufacturing site with high technology products and highly regulated processes. Within the small maintenance team you will be responsible for pitching in where needed to ensure the overall mechanical and electrical running on the site, this can be from production, development, manufacturing, factory machinery, facilities and plant building maintenance. The Candidate: The ideal candidate would be an experienced plant maintenance engineer with a background of working on industrial sites such as manufacturing, production, FMCG, waste, chemical, agricultural or construction industries. Work within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable so working with heavy industrial machinery such as conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, drives, three phase motors, senors, relays, gearboxes, pumps, valves and controls would be very beneficial. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for handling all of the site #39;s planned and reactive maintenance and ensure the efficiency of the PPMS schedule through a computerised system. Requirements: At least 5 years + experience working on an industrial site. Competent fault finding and repairing a range of site equipment autonomously. Experience working in a commercial or industrial setting, preferably manufacturing. You must be flexible and willing to pitch in where needed.
