Contracts manager drainage

Job description: Our client is a drainage company with over 20 years experience, who provide a professional and quality service to many blue chip and facility management companies. They are expanding currently and are in the market for a Contracts Manager for their base in Essex. What your core responsibilities would be: bull; To confidently manage, control and oversee all aspects of the contracts. bull; Communicate effectively with all levels within the organisation (Directors, Site Managers, Site Operatives and Sub-Contractors). bull; Ensure contracts are being carried out on site to a high standard and compliant with all health and safety regulations, whilst liaising with clients throughout. bull; To understand all financial aspects of the management process coherently from start to finish in accordance with company policies and procedures. bull; Handle incoming sales enquiries, developing new business leads and maintaining client bases. bull; Compile risk assessments, method statements, tenders, PPQs and ASBS notifications and relaying all information contained in site specific risk assessments/method statements to site personnel to maintain full understanding. bull; Manage all training requirements. bull; Manage all equipment servicing and maintenance. To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria: bull; Have a minimum of 2 years rsquo; experience working in a Contracts Manager role for a drainage / utilities company bull; Extensive industry experience, inclusive of all drainage legislation. bull; Capability to organise and run several varied projects. bull; Must be IT literate. The ability to operate programming software such as MS Project and Asta would be an advantage. bull; Good communication, literacy and organisations skills. bull; Fully aware of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation with the ability to assess and then produce Risk Assessment, Method Statements and Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans. bull; Good commercial awareness. bull; Management experience with behavioural awareness. bull; Full Driving Licence
