Maintenance engineer

Maintenance Engineers 4 on 4 off GBP35-GBP40k DOE Main Purpose of the Job To effectively carry out planned preventative maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of plant and equipment. Key Relationships 1. Operations Director 2. Unit Business Manager 3. Maintenance Department 4. Line Leaders 5. Manufacturing Engineers Job Tasks 1. Carry out regular checks and inspections of services, plant and systems. 2. Completion of planned preventative maintenance service programme on all critical equipment and plant machinery. 3. Assist in the creation and maintenance of TPM systems. 4. Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with Unit Business Managers rsquo; specifications. 5. Respond to reactive tasks quickly and efficiently. 6. Respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure equipment fault is rectified in a speedy manner. 7. Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments and plan rectifications with Unit Business Manager. 8. Assist other plant technicians in multi-person maintenance tasks. 9. Carry out lone working as required in accordance with the lsquo;Lone Worker rsquo; Health and Safety Regulations. 10. Liaise with contractors, where necessary, to assist with works and maintain quality as required. 11. Provide verbal estimates for maintenance works as required for budgetary purposes. 12. Order materials and equipment within your budget restraints, that may be necessary to your role. 13. Maintain stocks of various spare parts, tools, and equipment in a tidy and ordered manner. 14. General plant and service maintenance, repair, and recovery actions. 15.
