Teaching Personnel are on the lookout for a dedicated, hard-working, passionate individual to take on the role of SEN Teaching Assistant in around the Vale of Glamorgan area. Role Duties: - Supporting the pupil on a 1:1 basis in the classroom and other day to day activities. - Create a safe, positive, fun environment in the classroom to instil confidence in the pupil. - Develop a working rapport with the student. - Find an effective way to deliver feedback for the student rsquo;s efforts. - Promote a child-led approach. - Deal with challenging behaviour and be comfortable removing the pupil from a potentially triggering environment. The role is focused in the CF63 area in a primary school setting. You will be working with a pupil that may have any of Autism, ADD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, or other conditions. The working hours will be between Monday ndash; Friday starting at 8:30am finishing at 3:30pm. The Ideal Candidate will: - Have an open approach to SEN individuals. - Have a positive, energetic patient mindset. - Have a passion for helping others. - Want to enhance every child rsquo;s learning experience. - Be comfortable in a school setting. - Have a strong motivation to improve their own skills in a learning environment.
