Duties of this Mechanical Maintenance Engineers Role: Provide an Mechanical engineering service to the production team to achieve minimal down time Proactive for carrying out planned maintenance duties Insuring you are commercially aware of budgets to ensure there is the right amount of spares Look at ways to continuously improve efficiencies and downtime Collect and compile all data as requested To encourage and motivate trainee fitters and apprentices and offer assistance Maintaining and working in a safe manner, highlighting any safety concerns Qualifications required for Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Minimum of a level three Mechanical engineering qualification Experience within a manufacturing maintenance department Heavy to medium industry Some PLC knowledge would be an advantage Benefits of this Mechanical Maintenance Engineer rsquo;s role: Two days on, two nights on and four off GBP48,512.10 basic shift allowance Paid overtime 20 days holiday Employee assistance program.
