Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Health and Safety Manager for one of our clients in the Wellingborough area The Company: A leader in the Street Works industry, the company offers a range of services. They aim to offer a professional, high quality and tailored approach to all their services. Health and Safety is paramount to this company as they have the utmost value for their employees. They are in a very strong and stable position at present and are now looking to expand their team. The Role: The primary requirement will be to oversee all aspects of Health and Safety across the business including: bull; Understanding customer and business needs and requirements to develop effective HS and quality control processes. bull; Conducting health and safety reviews with clients to assist planning and enable a collaborative approach to changes within industry to keep MSF compliant and safe. bull; Devising and reviewing specifications for products or processes bull; Carrying out site inspections for internal HS audit purposes, training assessments bull; Carrying out incident report investigations bull; Continually assessing the relevance and effectiveness of RAMs and update as to legislation. bull; Monitoring company processes as to current legislation bull; Analysing data and statistics from clients bull; Managing effectiveness of HSW SharePoint system and making necessary changes bull; Carry out internal audit programme. bull; Report to senior team on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis bull; Be conversant with the management system and compliance regarding HERS, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and NERS together with all relevant external auditing bodies Essential Experience/Qualifications bull; A problem solver with strong analytical skills bull; Proficient in Microsoft Office bull; Details orientated. bull; An excellent communicator and can work with people at all levels of the company. bull; A strong leader bull; Comfortable and Confident dealing with clients, auditors and interested parties. bull; Experienced in systems and process implementation. bull; NEBOSH Qualified bull; Experienced in managing HSW Systems, teams, and auditors.
