Job Title: Bookkeeper Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP32,000 per annum Location: Stansted Contract: Permanent, Full time Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am ndash; 5.30pm (1 hour break) Are you looking to join a fun and vibrant team? They are seeking an experienced, reliable bookkeeper to join their driven and fun team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing various accounting tasks, and assisting with financial reporting. SKILLS REQUIRED * Excellent communication skills * Proficient with Xero * Proven experience in bookkeeping * Detail orientated with strong time management skills * Good record-keeping and bank reconciling abilities * Previous experience in a similar role * Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Excel RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage the day-to-day financial processes. * Ensure accurate recording of all transactions and reconcile bank statements. * Timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. * Aid in preparing comprehensive financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. * Serve as the primary point of contact for all finance inquiries. * Maintain precise bookkeeping and meticulous financial record-keeping. * Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures. * Prepare monthly management accounts. * Undertake additional financial duties including payroll, reconciliation, and VAT returns BENEFITS * 28 days annual leave including bank holidays * Free parking onsite * Christmas shutdown * Various staff events and team building trips * Company pension * Opportunities for progression * Performance bonus scheme * Access to exclusive experiences and events Thank you for your interest in this vacancy, which is being advertised by Smart10 Recruitment Group, who are acting as an employment agency / business.
