Assistant facilities manager

1st Select is excited to be recruiting for a fantastic school based in the Southwest that is looking for an Assistant Facility Manager. Duties Responsibilities: bull; Supervise designated employees daily by assigning work programs, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback for improvement. bull; Operate plants, equipment, and vehicles according to established procedures to maintain school buildings and operations. bull; Assist in maintaining school buildings, grounds, plants, fixtures, and equipment to high standards through maintenance, monitoring, and reporting. bull; Ensure school premises are cleaned according to agreed specifications and report any deficiencies to the Facility Manager. bull; Perform cleaning, housekeeping, maintenance, monitoring, inspection, and testing as required by the Facility Manager. bull; Execute snow clearance following the agreed gritting plan. bull; Monitor the use of school facilities and equipment by pupils, staff, and community users to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. bull; Monitor environmental systems and report any deficiencies to the Facility Manager. Experience: bull; Experience working within a school is desirable. bull; DBS will be required
