Junior maintenance technician

M-Tec Engineering Solutions are currently working with a leading tier 1 supplier with the recruitment of a Junior Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician. Reporting to a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for providing support in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of all plant and warehouse facilities over a three-shift rotation. Day to day responsibilities include: *Responsible for maintenance of the assembly equipment and facilities as and when required. *Respond to breakdowns as and when they occur on the assembly equipment on an urgent basis. *Responsible for the recording and analysing of data from equipment failures. *Responsible for planning and carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance activities. *Working on bespoke assembly fixtures and conveyor systems, utilising knowledge of pneumatics, electrics, PLC systems (Siemens) and robotics. The successful candidate should have at least 12 months previous experience in a maintenance / technical environment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a biased towards Electrical Maintenance,. Ideally be a ldquo;Time Served Apprentice rdquo;, with an appropriate craft or technical qualification, level 3 or HNC or equivalent and ideally have 18th edition certification. You will be a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is willing to learn and develop there electrical and mechanical skills. Further training will be offered for the right candidates.
