Protection Control Engineer Power Networks, Transmission Distribution Coventry, West Midlands GBP47,000 to GBP74,000 plus car plus benefits Job Ref: J(phone number removed)F Due to recent wins, we are recruiting in across the UK for numerous Protection Control Engineers. You will be accountable for the following tasks including but not limited to: * Carrying out detail design works including the protection and control aspects of different projects The work includes - SLD, - KLD, - schematics, wiring diagrams - functional specifications, - setting reports, - coordination and discrimination studies, - telecom, - network architecture, - SCS, - cable sizing and voltage drop, - LVAC and LVDC load calculations and sizing, - technical specification for P C equipment, battery and UPS systems. * Carry out CDAE for P C discipline * Carry out P C Design Assurance activities * Ability to attend and chair the design review and Hazard review meetings and reviewing P C design packages as required. * Attending site visits, FAT and SAT as required. You #39;ll need to have: * HND or Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience. * Proven extensive experience in P C design of substations in UK * Good knowledge of electrical codes and standards Full UK Driving Licence.
