Responsible for day-to-day administration and operation of the Payroll system. Maintain rate tables to reflect pay awards, NMW, pensions and more. Respond to complex queries. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HMRC, DWP legislation and all NJC, DCLG guidance. Act as the first point of contact. The experience required hellip; As a successful Senior Payroll Officer, you will have the following: CIPP / AAT qualification or equivalent payroll or taxation qualification. Significant payroll experience at a supervisory level. Significant experience dealing with final salary and career average pension schemes and auto-enrolment. Experience with Payroll/HR systems. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and report on data. Working knowledge of statutory payments and deductions and relevant HMRC-related legislation.
