Assistant planner

Assistant Planner ndash; Devon An opportunity has arisen to join a leading construction main contractor for an array of exciting new schemes on a permanent basis. As the Assistant Planner, you will be responsible for the support to planning and project function to a variety of schemes within Healthcare, Local Authority, Education and Leisure. This position will include the following responsibilities: Develop the short term and detailed project Programmes with the Planner/Project Manager Identify project critical success factors for the programme Maintain as-built Programmes from weekly progress information including activity start and finish dates Establish effective relationships with the supply chain and ensure planning requirements are understood and being acted upon Optimise distribution of information, using the document control system Contribute to the planning input for the PEP documentation and client specific documents etc. Use of relevant software such as Microsoft Project, Asta Power Project If you would like to discuss this vacancy, please do call RGB Recruitment Exeter and ask for Nicky Harris
