Warehouse operative

We are currently seeking on behalf of our client based in Eccleshall, motivated and dedicated individuals to join their team as Warehouse Operatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse environment. This is a temp to perm position based in a cold storage facility. Shifts: middot;Monday to Friday Days - 8am-6pm Nights - 8pm-6am middot;GBP12 - GBP13 per hour Key Responsibilities: middot;Picking and packing: Accurately selecting items for dispatch and ensuring they are securely packaged. middot;Manual handling: Safely lifting and moving items of various weights and sizes within the warehouse. Use of PPT and VNA will also be expected once training completed. middot;Health and safety: Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment. middot;Loading and unloading containers: Efficiently loading and unloading goods from containers using appropriate equipment. middot;Other warehouse duties: Assisting with inventory management, stock replenishment, and general warehouse maintenance tasks. Requirements: middot;Good level of English: Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English to ensure clear instructions and seamless teamwork. middot;Ability to handle manual tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. middot;Strong focus on accuracy when picking and packing items to ensure customer satisfaction. middot;Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment. middot;Experience using PPT and/ or VNA would be advantageous but full training would be given for the right candidate.
