Role: Head Chef Salary: 30k Hours: Full time Location: Cornwall (Accommodation provided) Our client is looking for a dynamic Head Chef to lead a thriving kitchen to deliever a 5* dining experience for their customers. The menu comprimises of local Cornish specialties, fresh seafood, and homemade classics, and will require a creative individual to plan and devise new menus for each season. If you #39;re an experienced Head Chef or a Sous Chef looking to take a step up in your career then send over your CV today! *Accommodation provided - if required* As Head Chef you will: * Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support * Plan and develop menus that are innovative, diverse, and in line with customer preferences * Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards * Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen * Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new recipes and seasonal specials * Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment * Manage food costs by minimizing waste and implementing cost-saving measures * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings Experience: * Proven experience working as a Head Chef or Sous Chef * Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavors, and presentation * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail * Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and management Benefits: * 30-40 hour week (no crazy 60 hour+ weeks!) * Accommodation (for non-drivers or those not in the area) * Pension * Free parking * Holidays * Company events staff discounts Apply today and one of the team will be back in touch
