Mechanical design engineer

Due to the high demand of their product and exciting new products coming into their lineup, they are looking for another skilled Design Engineer to join their team. Mechanical Design Engineer Permanent GBP35,000 to GBP40,000 Depending on experience level 08.30am to 17.30pm Monday to Friday Suffolk ASAP Start Mechanical Design Engineer Role and Responsibilities bull; Designing user-focused machinery for manual, semi-automated or PLC control bull; Creating 3D CAD models and 2D detail drawings of new parts, fabrications and assemblies bull; Creating clear and accurate technical documentation necessary for the specification, manufacture, assembly, testing and support of machinery throughout product lifecycle bull; Designing and conducting practical functional tests, reliability tests and user trials bull; Investigating change requests using a thorough and methodical approach Mechanical Design Engineer Desired Skills Experience bull; Minimum 3 years #39; experience in a similar role designing product or industrial equipment for small to medium production volumes bull; Excellent 3D CAD skills bull; Sound knowledge of MRP, BOMs and product data management systems bull; Familiar with design for assembly and design for serviceability bull; Previous experience of designing for compliance requirements If you feel you are a good fit for this role and would like to know more and be considered then please Apply Now
