SHE Manager Monday ndash; Thursday 8 ndash; 5.30 Up to GBP40,000 Uttoxeter The Role: The post holder will ensure that the department is managed in order to meet the strategic objectives and legal requirements across the business and drive continual improvement across the integrated SHE management systems, whilst introducing world class Environmental and Health and Safety practices. What will you be doing? * Lead site SHE and manage department resource to effectively meet SHE objectives * Develop the Environmental and Health and Safety system to significantly improve current standards to agreed levels in agreed time frames * Influence and collaborate with frontline management and relative stakeholders and advise on SHE matters * Review and tailor specific SHE training packages, delivering internal training/toolbox talks where appropriate, in collaboration with either external training providers or internal Training Manager * Provide updates on regulatory changes and audits and offer sound advice and direction * Carry out accident/incident investigations and report to the senior management team in a timely manner, ensuring that preventative actions are identified and executed What will you bring to the party? * Degree/Diploma/NVQ in OH S * ISO 14001 45001 management * NEBOSH General Certificate in Health Safety * COSHH and Risk assessments / Accident investigation * DSEAR and Legionella Assessments What Happens Next?
