Electrical maintenance engineer

W Talent Manufacturing are supporting a leading manufacturing company based in Cheshire who are now looking to recruit an Electrical Biased, Maintenance Engineer. Our client is dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to its customers and gone through exceptional growth in the past 2 years which has led to high capex investment. This Manufacturer has a focus on innovation and driving continuous improvement and is now seeking a new Maintenance Engineer to help improve on site breakdowns and new installations. Position Overview: We are looking for an Electrical Biased, Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for the upkeep of all manufacturing equipment within this finishing department. You will be an Electrical biased engineer, with the chance to develop and train within Mechanical with the aim of becoming a multi-skilled engineer. This position will be working Monday to Friday, days based at the manufacturing site in Cheshire. Key Responsibilities: * You will assist in new installations including commissioning of equipment related to onsite projects while carrying out planned maintenance routines. * To carry out safety inspections of equipment to comply with the company health and safety policy. * To ensure compliance with company and legislative health and safety policies, procedures, and standards always. * To complete engineering breakdown reports and practice Good Manufacturing Practice with factory areas. * Provide support and advice to engineers and department managers where appropriate. * To participate in-house and external training courses as deemed relevant by the Company. * Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance routines and rectify defects where appropriate during planned maintenance or on immediate request. Key Requirements: To apply for the Days Based, Electrical Biased, Maintenance Engineer position located in Cheshire you will need to have some form of electrical qualifications and manufacturing, packaging or FMCG experience. What rsquo;s on Offer: GBP36,000 to GBP40,500 plus benefits including a top up holiday package.
