Role: Supply Chain Manager Salary : GBP40,000- GBP48,000 Location: Southport Role Overview: Join our dynamic Operations team as a Supply Chain Manager, where you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating activities that support our operations. As a pivotal team member, you will contribute collaboratively to our customer-centric and business-savvy approach, efficiently overseeing the Supplier Chain and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Bring your logical and methodical problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset to make a significant impact. Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate Supply Chain and Purchasing activities, providing vital support to the Operations Manager Monitor and manage business inventory levels, optimizing stockturns and enhancing cash flow Skillfully negotiate contracts, seeking long-term agreements and ensuring a secure supply of items with extended lead times Generate KPIs demonstrating PPV performance, On-Time Delivery (OTD), and lead times Take charge of the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment Cultivate positive relationships with suppliers and distributors Ensure customer satisfaction through timely deliveries Safeguard brand image and reliability Champion growth-friendly supply chain practices Train employees, emphasising safety guidelines and promoting a culture of excellence Propose solutions for process improvements Identify and address process bottlenecks in a timely manner Collaborate with finance, sales, and manufacturing teams to determine optimal vendors and distributors Requirements: Proven experience in a Manufacturing Environment CIPS qualification Expertise in managing inventory levels and measuring stockturns Strong commercial awareness and contract negotiation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Capacity to challenge the norm and promote a culture of continuous improvement Benefits: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for career growth and advancement Engaging and inclusive company culture How to Apply: If you are an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager seeking an exciting new challenge, we invite you to apply.
