Job Title: HVAC Engineer Location: Covering Home counties North ndash; Ideal candidate located in Hertfordshire Salary: GBP47,465.51 per annum (Inclusive of standby) Benefits: Company Vehicle, Company pension scheme, BUPA (single cover), death in service, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) Hours: 45 hours a week ndash; Monday to Friday. On call rota of 1 in every 4 weeks We are advertising this HVAC Engineer role on behalf of lsquo;City Facilities Management rsquo;. City were established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the worlds largest privately held, integrated FM Companies. Jon Purpose: This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across several site locations. You will be the first line in all maintenance throughout your allocated sites. The purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs and PPM rsquo;s. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date. All work will be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down Company Health and Safety policy. Key Responsibilities: * Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures. * Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary. * Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times. * Order spares to the laid-down procedures. * Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement. * Ensure that compliance documentation is always completed and up to date. * Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by City management. * Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individual rsquo;s technical competence in accordance with current specifications. * Attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments. Candidates Background Experience: * Commercial gas tickets are essential * Mechanical HVAC experience essential (pumps, motors etc) * NVQ Level 3 ndash; Commercial and Industrial Gas, Building Services / Heat Ventilation * City Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category * Full/ clean UK driving license. * Positive in approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment, but above all be committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service. * Experience of multi-site environment. * Achievement of PPM schedule within agreed timescales. * Maintenance of health and safety policy. * Dealing directly with customers and on-site management teams If you feel these qualities describe you, then we would like to hear from you.
