Electrician

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a team dedicated to ensuring the safety and functionality of our social housing properties. As a Maintenance Electrician working for a local Housing Association, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical maintenance and repair tasks in residential properties, contributing to the overall comfort and safety of our tenants. Responsibilities of the Electrician: Conduct electrical inspections, maintenance, and repairs in social housing properties. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, fixtures, and appliances. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on electrical systems. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address multi-disciplinary issues. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and provide on-call support when necessary. Communicate effectively with tenants to understand their concerns and address maintenance issues. Requirements for the Electrician role: Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician, preferably in social housing or a similar setting. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid driver #39;s license and reliable transportation.
