Group finance director

The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting the business to achieve their growth plans. We are looking for a Finance Director or Head of Finance who has ideally come from a Manufacturing background or a similar related industry. Duties: * Directing and controlling a small Finance Team. * Contributing to the company rsquo;s business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy for the Group. * Developing and controlling the company rsquo;s annual operating budget. * Ensure financial and statutory regulations are compliant. * Overseeing the preparation of the company rsquo;s financial accounts. * Reviewing current operating procedures and implementing new systems if required. Skills and Experience: * Ideally have experience of working in a Group Finance role. * You must be a Qualified Accountant. Ideally ACCA or ACA. ICAEW is desirable. * Experience of working in the Manufacturing industry or a similar related industry. * Ability to work on multiple projects at one time. * Experience managing a Finance Team. * In-depth knowledge of Corporate Finance and Accounting principles, laws and best practices. * Able to showcase Strategic and Commercial decision making and advice. * Experience of mergers and acquisitions would be beneficial. * Previous experience of using SAP is preferred
