As PR Account Manager you will play a pivotal role in our communications team, taking charge of client accounts and driving strategic PR initiatives. You will feel confident in developing and executing powerful PR ideas from pitch to publishing, and in collaborating with the PR Lead and Account Executives to align activity to the clients rsquo; commercial objectives. The role: As PR Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our communications team, taking charge of client accounts and driving strategic PR initiatives. With around 3 years of experience in PR, ideally within the life sciences sector, you will have great existing relationships with journalists across key industry, business and national titles. What you rsquo;ll be doing; * Lead client accounts and take full ownership of client delivery, ensuring exceptional service and successful PR campaigns. * Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns for life sciences clients, aiming to secure top-tier coverage in national and sector publications. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts in the life sciences industry. * Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop PR strategies aligned with clients #39; business objectives. * Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials ndash; including longform blogs and thought leadership pieces . * Monitor and analyse media coverage, providing regular reports and insights to clients. * Conduct media outreach and secure media placements across various channels (print,digital, broadcast). * Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities in the life sciences sector. * Support business development efforts by contributing to new business proposals and presentations. * Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and PR best practices. * Collaborate with the marketing and events teams to maximise PR opportunities. Who are you? * With around three years of PR experience, you rsquo;re media-obsessed. You know who rsquo;s who across the health and tech media landscape, and you leverage existing relationships to land incredible coverage * You rsquo;ll have experience of pitching in different markets - The UK + Europe is our core market but if you have experience of landing high impact coverage in the US or other markets we rsquo;ll be extra impressed * Your background in healthcare or science means you aren rsquo;t phased by jargon or technical language - in fact, translating the complex into the compelling is your bread and butter * You enjoy writing compelling, original shortform and longform copy - and can turn around work quickly with flawless grammar * Working in, and with, fast-paced startups and purpose-led companies gives you a buzz * You rsquo;re ready to learn - our work is varied and there is always something new to get to grips with Problem-solving is second nature - we have a lsquo;yes, if rsquo; culture, so we think outside the box to solve problems and identify new approaches * Collaboration is your forte, and you enjoy working as part of a team and supporting others to upskill and develop * You can adapt quickly to changing priorities and foresee potential challenges, effectively communicating and planning ahead with your team. What you rsquo;ll get from us: * Salary dependent on experience * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with office close / light duties between * Christmas and New Year * Remote working, with monthly team days in London * Monthly budget of GBP100 for access to office / co-working spaces to meet with other members of the team or if you fancy an occasional change of scenery * Company pension enrollment after 3 months * Work from anywhere and flexible working policies * Health insurance following successful completion of probation * We rsquo;re also currently trialling a 9 day fortnights, closing the office on alternate Fridays
