Field service engineer

Job Title: Field Service Engineer Location: London Region Salary: GBP34,000 to GBP36,811 Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 - 15:30 Job Purpose: As a key member of the Engineering Service Support Team, the Field Service Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering world-class solutions to factories by simplifying transportation conveyor procedures. The role involves planned preventative maintenance (PPM), recommendations, participation in a callout rota, and machine maintenance aligned with customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Perform planned preventative maintenance and suggest system improvements. * Complete the service rota efficiently. * Ensure safety compliance and conduct mechanical/electrical repairs. * Collaborate with the team for innovation and system enhancements. * Manage incident/accident reporting and implement preventive strategies. * Prioritize workload for effective time management. Essential Experience: * Experience in electrical engineering within an industrial setting. * Engineering experience in FMCG/manufacturing - desirable. * Successful delivery against contractual targets and KPIs. * Extensive experience in managing service contracts. * Ability to build effective working relationships Skills: * Enthusiastic and motivated multi-skilled engineer. * PC literate with strong interpersonal skills. * Effective time management and organizational skills. * Willingness to travel within the UK. * Work well under pressure and meet deadlines. * Strong communication and collaboration skills.
