COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Northampton, Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Cambridge, Leicester, Luton, Coventry, Oxford JOB DESCRIPTION: Electrical Design Engineer : Renewable Energy, Photovoltaic As our dynamic electrical design engineer, youll tackle a wide array of responsibilities spanning multiple sustainable/renewable energy initiatives, your duties will include: A Design Photovoltaic (PV), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and High Voltage Power Systems. A Create all drawings and schedules, conduct grid connection studies and feasibility assessments. A Site surveys and client meetings, offer technical support, produce reports, and manage projects from concept to completion. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Electrical Design Engineer : Renewable Energy, Photovoltaic A You MUST be an experienced Electrical Design Engineer, ideally with experience in Photovoltaic / Battery Energy Storage Systems (PV/BESS) theory or HV/Power systems. (both would be advantageous). A You MUST be a qualified Electrical Engineer ideally with experience of using AutoCAD and other PV:specific CAD tools (We use PVSYST here). A Understanding MV/HV AC distribution systems and project management/design experience in large/commercial:scale Photovoltaic (PV) installations is a key requirement too.
