As an Ex-Veterans Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing direct support for veterans, ensuring their well-being and independence. To directly provide support for veterans, empowering them to maximize their independence. Collate information to enable accurate reporting on performance against internal/external targets and outcomes. Ensure veterans are fully involved at all levels in the running of the project. Preferred Requirements: Experience in Supported Housing, Homelessness, Mental Health, and Substance Misuse. Demonstrated ability to carry out person-centered key-working, need/risk assessment, and support planning. Commitment to staying informed about relevant initiatives, especially those pertinent to veterans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with veterans and external agencies. Understanding of financial procedures and experience in ensuring veterans #39; access to appropriate benefits and support. Preferred Qualifications: Qualification in a relevant field such as Social Work, Health Services, or Mental Health Support. Knowledge of current legislation and best practices in healthcare and social services.
