Site Supervisor/Foreperson - Hadleigh (Near Ipswich) Sitting within the Anglian Water @one Alliance, who are a collaborative organisation made up seven partner companies (Anglian Water, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska and SWECO) and their extended supply chain, delivering over half of Anglian Water rsquo;s capital investment programme. Now working in the latest Asset Management Period, AMP 7, the alliance is working towards delivering an approximate GBP1.8bn programme of work until 2025. They will then move into the AMP8. Responsible for delivering the best infrastructure and non-infrastructure solutions for the whole region on circa 800 projects, our client champions safety, sustainability, customers, and innovation. Their site teams are a critical part of our success. To bolster their site leadership capabilities, we are looking for a new Site Supervisor/Foreperson to lead our clients teams to project success! Leading our clients teams towards safety, quality, and project targets consistently, you rsquo;ll be a vital link between Site Managers and site operatives by ensuring key messages are appropriately conveyed. Always working with transparency and integrity, you rsquo;ll lead by example and provide your teams with the exposure and opportunity to flourish whilst ensuring we strive towards our outperformance targets. * Ensure work carried out meets @one alliance and statutory legal requirements via a range of activities including site inspections, reviewing method statements and risk assessments, and delivering toolbox talks. * Ensure site personnel have relevant training and plant equipment/ machinery are in good working order with in-date certificates. * Communicate with site team members on upcoming activities ensuring all requirements are met minimising any delays to production. * Oversee temporary works ensuring work is installed as per the design and the Site Manager is kept updated accordingly. * Encourage and promote near-miss reporting ensuring close-outs are delivered and fed back to the site manager and operatives. * Champion a lsquo;Get it right first-time mentality; Check the quality of finished products delivered by teams ensuring the product is completed to a high standard. * Schedule, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of gangs/site operatives. * Order and manage hired internal and external equipment daily to optimise performance and reduce costs. Scope of works involve: Cross-country pipelines (33km split into sections), temporary works, working with plant, pressure testing, reinstatement, Earthmoving, Groundworks, Clean Water.
