High level teaching assistant

We are looking for a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support a school based in Central Northampton. The school is a 2 form entry school which is part of a successful trust. The school has a welcoming and safe environment and has a focus on ensuring all children receive a high quality education and develop a wide range of life skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the teachers, providing essential support in the planning, preparation and delivery of lessons. The HLTA will be responsible for guiding and supervising students during class activities and assisting with the overall classroom management. Key Responsibilities: bull; Assist teachers in the development of lesson plans and classroom activities. bull; Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help. bull; Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment. bull; Support classroom management and assist with behaviour management strategies. bull; Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of children rsquo;s progress. bull; Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals. Requirements: bull; Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or a similar role in an educational setting. bull; Relevant qualifications and certifications in education or child development. bull; Strong communication and interpersonal skills. bull; Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children. bull; Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. bull; Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
