Our client in Egham is looking for a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator - Milling. /Days/Hours: Monday ndash; Thursday (Flexible start and finish times: 7/8am ndash; 4/5pm) Friday (7/8am ndash; 12/1pm) Salary: Up to GBP41,000 (depending on experience) Benefits: Company Pension 6% 24 days holiday Plus 8 days Bank Holidays Overtime available (time and a half) On-site parking Closed 3 days over Christmas Kitchen on site with free refreshments Christmas gathering CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator ndash; Milling Responsibilities: To program, set and operate CNC Milling Machines for the production of aerospace components Program CNC 3, 4 5 Axis Milling machines online via Fanuc and Sinumerik controls Program offline via EDGECAM Setting and production of first off rsquo;s to ensure requirements are met and standards / tolerances are repeatable Producing machine set-up documentation Keeping abreast of cutting technology; identifying and developing new processes and striving for continuous improvement in CNC machining Liaising with management to ensure programme timescales are met or advised of potential difficulties Providing assistance to production management when required to develop and implement technical solutions to production related process issues Liaising with Engineering / Quality departments to ensure Company procedures and quality assurance is maintained at all times To ensure that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times To support team members with other tasks as and when required Responsible for mentoring new staff as required To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe published Health and Safety procedures CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator ndash; Milling Skills: CNC programming, setting and operating experience (preferably in the Aerospace Industry) Experience with CAD/CAM Offline Programming in EDGECAM Ability to edit programs using Fanuc Sinumerik controls Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment Ability to work using Metric and Imperial Computer literate and methodical Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator ndash; Milling Personal Attributes: Team Player Strong Work lsquo;Can-do Ethic rsquo; Exceptional at building relationships Excellent Customer Service skills Strong attention to detail and time management Exceptional Planning and Organisation skills High awareness of Productivity and Quality Excellent Communication skills Flexibility Takes Responsibility for actions Learn, Apply and Improve If you #39;re interested in this CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator ndash; Milling position, please apply today!
