We are now recruiting for a TIG Welder / Fabricator to ensure all TIG welding projects are completed in conformance with specifications and set time scales. As our TIG Welder / Fabricator you will be responsible for: * Fabrication and welding of vacuum chambers, components and sub-assemblies. * Working closely with the Lead Technician to enable welding and fabrication objectives to be completed. * Completing projects ibn accordance with planed scheduled aligning fabrication and welding workload. * Quality control evaluations. * Setting up and running of leak check operations using mass spectrometry equipment (helium lead detectors) on all chamber vessels. In order to be successful in this role it rsquo;s essential that you have: * A minimum of 3 years rsquo; experience in TIG Welding / Fabrication. * Established skillset in metal fabrication and welding including the use of precision measuring equipment. * Able to read specified drawings. * Comfortable working to deadlines set by lead technician. * Basic knowledge of turning would be an advantage. * Follow all health and safety regulations and seek to maintain and improve these standards.
