Job description:

I am working with a reputable client based in Leighton Buzzard (LU7) who require a professional Fleet Controller. The position is a permanent role paying up to GBP32k + Benefits DOE. Working Hours: Mon - Fri (8am - 5:30pm) 1 in 4 Working Sat (8am - 12pm) The ideal candidate will have a strong background / industry knowledge within hire fleet. You will be completing general maintenance of the fleet and equipment. This would include double decker rsquo;s, curtainsiders, box trailers and trucks. In addition, you will be taking calls for breakdowns and liaising with engineers to schedule, plan and coordinate them in a timely manner. You will also have impeccable attention to detail and be well organised to maintain documents for Road Tax and MOT for all vehicles. It rsquo;s imperative that you have some knowledge of HGV Mechanics. It would be advantageous if you have authorised vehicle warranties and approved repair costs within a commercial setting, but this is not essential as some training can be provided.
