Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Oldbury Daily Rate: GBP85 - GBP95 Employment: Long term to permanent Monday to Friday (8.30am ndash; 4pm) Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with complex and profound learning difficulties? GSL Education are currently supporting a school in Oldbury are looking for experienced special educational needs (SEN) teaching assistants who will be involved with working 1:1 and small groups with children with Extremely Challenging Behaviour, Autism, ADHD, Aggression, SEMH, PMLD, Looked After Children, CSE/CSA, those who are at risk of harm to themselves or others as well as individuals with Attachment difficulties. Responsibilities: Providing 1:1 behaviour support to pupils with challenging behaviour and SEN requirements Managing and implementing appropriate structures to manage challenging behaviour Acting like a positive role model and providing nurture support Providing numeracy and literacy booster sessions out of the classroom Ensuring you read about the child rsquo;s requirements The care and welfare of pupils to include toileting and feeding as required. To assist pupils with dress/changing for activities/personal hygiene Requirements: High standards of written and spoken English. NVQ Level 2 Childcare, Learning and Development or equivalent qualification. Willing to undertake all training necessary to perform the role.
